Full policy

1. Who we are. Babol AI operates the website at babol-ai.net and the companion chat service available through it. Where this policy says "we", "us" or "Babol AI", it means that operator.
2. Scope. This policy covers the Babol AI website, the chat interface, billing pages and any support correspondence. It does not cover third-party sites you may reach through outbound links.
3. Account data. When you register we collect an email address, a hashed password or a sign-in token from your chosen provider, and the date the account was created.
4. Profile data. Any nickname, pronouns, interests or companion preferences you enter are stored so your Babol AI experience stays consistent between visits.
5. Conversation data. Messages you exchange with a companion, including voice notes and generated media, are stored so memory features work. You control this content and may erase it.
6. Payment data. Card and wallet details are handled by regulated payment processors. Babol AI receives only a transaction reference, the amount, the currency and the outcome.
7. Technical data. We log IP address, browser type, device class, language, referring page and timestamps for security, fraud prevention and troubleshooting.
8. Usage data. Aggregated counts such as sessions started, features opened and messages sent help us understand which parts of Babol AI are worth improving.
9. Cookies. Strictly necessary cookies keep you signed in and protect forms. Optional analytics and preference cookies are only set once you consent, and consent can be withdrawn.
10. Local storage. Small values may be stored in your browser to remember theme, language and dismissed notices. Clearing site data removes them.
11. Why we process data. To provide the service you requested, to bill you, to keep accounts secure, to comply with law and to improve product quality.
12. Legal bases. Depending on your location we rely on contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, or compliance with a legal obligation.
13. No sale of personal data. Babol AI does not sell personal information and does not share chat content with advertisers or data brokers.
14. Service providers. We use vetted vendors for hosting, content delivery, payment processing, email delivery, error monitoring and model inference. They act on our instructions only.
15. International transfers. Data may be processed in countries other than yours. Where required we use standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
16. Security measures. Transport encryption, encryption at rest for chat archives, access controls, audit logging, least-privilege staff permissions and regular dependency review.
17. Staff access. Support staff can only view a conversation when you explicitly grant access for a support ticket, and such access is time-limited and logged.
18. Retention. Account records are kept while the account is active. Chat history is kept until you delete it. Billing records are kept for the period tax law requires.
19. Deletion. Deleting your Babol AI account removes profile data and chat archives from production systems within thirty days, and from encrypted backups within ninety days.
20. Your rights. Subject to local law you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests.
21. Withdrawing consent. Where processing relies on consent you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
22. Marketing choices. Promotional email is opt-in and every message carries an unsubscribe link. Service and billing notices cannot be switched off while the account exists.
23. Automated processing. Companion replies are produced automatically. This has no legal effect on you and no automated decision affects your access to money, credit or employment.
24. Children. Babol AI is an adult service. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 and we close any account we believe belongs to a minor.
25. Sensitive information. Please do not send government identifiers, health records or financial credentials through chat. Such content is removed when discovered.
26. Data accuracy. You can edit account details at any time. Keeping your email current ensures you receive security notices.
27. Breach notification. If a breach is likely to result in significant risk to you, we will notify affected members and the relevant supervisory authority without undue delay.
28. Third-party links. Pages outside babol-ai.net have their own policies. Review them before submitting information.
29. Business changes. If the service is reorganised, merged or acquired, data may transfer to the successor entity under this same policy until it is lawfully replaced.
30. Complaints. You may complain to your local data protection authority, though we would appreciate the chance to resolve the matter first.
31. Policy updates. Material changes are announced on this page with a revised date, and by email where the change significantly affects your rights.
32. Contact. Privacy requests can be sent to privacy@babol-ai.net and are answered within thirty days.
